PI histogram of the gated cell singlets distinguishes cells at the Sub G0/G1, G0/G1, S, and G2/M cycle phases. Gating of cell cycle phases is approximate and can be refined using software (Cell Quest Software, Version 6.0) analysis. For each analysis 10,000 singlet cells were gated into Sub G0/G1, G0/G1, S and G2/M phases for the analysis for all samples including controls as indicated in the histograms
