CV staining images of (a) Control (untreated) cells, (b) ZnO NPs treated cells and (c) modified ZnO NPs treated cells (MDA-MB-231) after 24 h treatment of stress. Cells were fixed by 4 % paraformaldehyde for 30 min, stained by 0.05 % Crystal violet for 30 min and then subsequently washed with distilled water followed by microscopic observation at 10X. This observation clearly shows less number of viable cells in treated cells than untreated control
