From: Mechanistic study of a diazo dye degradation by Soybean Peroxidase
Activity of polyacrylamide-entrapped SBP (PA-SBP) for degrading Trypan Blue. [Dye] = 20 ppm, [H2O2] = 64 μM, pH 7. PA-SBP (approximately equivalent to 40 U/ml) was prepared as described under Materials and Methods and was added to a dye solution containing hydrogen peroxide to start the reaction. After 30 minutes, the PA-SBP was taken out and reused (up to 6 times). Run 6 was carried out using the 5-times used PA-SBP that was stored over night at 4°C in pH 7 buffer.
