From: Mechanistic study of a diazo dye degradation by Soybean Peroxidase
Use of sequential addition of hydrogen peroxide to achieve almost complete degradation of Trypan Blue with SBP. Trypan Blue (40 ppm) was incubated with 40 U/ml SBP in pH 4 and the dye degradation reaction was initiated with the addition of 64 μM H2O2. After the reaction seemed to have leveled off additional H2O2 (64 μM) were added as indicated by arrows.
